Both business travellers and tourists liked this hotel for its location, and found it conveniently located to the business district and to a number of Ottawa attractions. Several guests indicated that the hotel was well located to a grocery store as well, which made it easy to stock their in-room kitchens. There were comments from guests who liked the neighbourhood in which the hotel was situated, and liked that there were residential buildings in the mix.
Guests felt that the rooms were comfortable, sizeable and well-configured. Rooms were well stocked and well appointed with amenities.

The Bad
While a number of comments used for this analysis were favourable, there were a few common points among complaints, including a lack of detail when it came to cleaning, and unreliable WI FI connections.
A lack of thorough cleaning was an issue for a few guests, both in common areas in the rooms. Specifically, guests mentioned unclean sheets and dirty dishes in the kitchenette, as well as an unclean breakfast room.
A number of guest indicated that they had trouble with the WI FI, saying that the connections were slow and, at times, unreliable and spotty. One guest said "WI FI is painfully slow".
A number of guests felt that the bathrooms were in need of updating and repair. A few guests complained of broken shower heads. Another guest said that the tile in their bathroom was discoloured, likely due to age.
