The GoodThis hotel received compliments for several aspects of the guest experience and many reviewers indicated that they would return and recommend this hotel to others.
Many guests agreed that the rooms were clean, bright, spacious, and well appointed. One reviewer described her room as "exceptionally clean [and] the bathroom shined". The beds and pillows were also found to be comfortable by many guests. A few reviewers also mentioned that their rooms were quiet.
The staff were described as polite and helpful by many reviewers, while one guest who seemed to travel to Ottawa frequently said that this property had the "friendliest employees". A couple of reviewers also mentioned that the staff provided toys to their children at check-in, while a few other guests said that the staff responded promptly to requests for additional supplies.
The on-site restaurant also received several compliments for the quality of food served. One guest, when describing his experience at the restaurant said, "the service was good and the food was excellent".

The Bad
There were very few complaints found for this hotel, among the reviews used for this analysis.
A few guests found the food quality and variety of the continental breakfast poor. A couple of other reviewers described the breakfast area as small and lacking an adequate amount of seating for guests.
A few reviewers also thought that the room rate was too expensive for a hotel located outside of the downtown area.
Other isolated complaints included finding the in-room climate control noisy, the pool location inconvenient to access, and the old appearance of the elevators.
