"The desk people rather cold. No warm greetings. Maybe they were having a bad day. As customer I sensed a "unwelcoming" enviroment. The guy in charge of car renting: superb. The waiters at restaurant, friendly and very professional. Made us (my wife and I) feel good."

"The Sheraton Hotel provided my family with an amazing experience; from the scavenger hunt in the hotel for the children, the nice heated pool and sauna to the hotels amazing location close to winterlude. Thank you We will come again!"

"The hotel was under construction and did not have a restaurant. I am a woman travelling for business and did not want to have to hike out to find a place to eat and do not eat alone in restaurants in the evening. The management could have made a better effort to provide information about restaurants that deliver. This construction was planned in advance. They could have planned ahead to provide alternate options for meals in the room. I was there for 8 days and this got to be pretty aggravating."

"Rip off prices for in room water, provisions, but I guess that's standard to the business. Putting bottles wtare in the room with a big fat label saying $4.50 for a tiny bottle does create a poor impression however!"

"This is my third year in a row coming to Ottawa to enjoy the festivities of Winterlude and third year staying at the Sheridan. The hotel is very clean and homey, the staff is hospitable and the location to the Winterlude events is fantastic. I would recommend to anyone a stay at the Sheridan."
