There was a sense from guests that they perceived good value for the price they paid for the room rate. Phrases like good value and inexpensive were reflective of guest sentiment.
A number of guests indicated that they were pleasantly surprised with how clean, spacious and well-equipped the rooms were. They were particularly pleased about the space afforded in the apartment-style layout, and liked the convenience of having separate bedrooms, a fridge and a microwave.
Location was a big draw for a number of guests, who felt that the hotel was located in a clean, safe neigbourhood. Guests also said that the downtown Ottawa area (including the Byward Market and Rideau Canal) was close by (less than a 10-minute drive or about a 30 to 40-minute walk for those who preferred to wander by foot).
