"Apart from a very long line at the check in everything went very well.
Finding our way to the parking garage which was though a shopping mall and seemed to be under an adjacent building was a bit confusing"

"everything you need is right there at the hotel, grocery store, pharmacy, pool, work out area, bar and restaurant, wine store. room was great, large and very comfortable, and clean. good location, only a short walk to Parliment buildings and down town sites. one of the best features was that nothing there was over priced."

"The only complaint I have, and it's not a very big one, is in my room (suite 613) the A/C was very loud. It was the only thing that I can complain about and I'm a heavy sleeper so it wasn't that bad for me.
Other than that, everything was top notch. The staff there was pleasant and wonderful as was the rest of the hotel.
If I ever return to Ottawa or go anywhere that has a Minto Suite Hotel I would definitely return."

"A Great Hotel!"
"My boyfriend and I are in our mid twenties. The Minto Place was perfect for our weekend getaway to our nation's capital. Their studios are spacious and very comfortable. The location is close to all the tourist attractions, shopping and the nightlife downtown. I would recommended this hotel to anyone and everyone!"

"Very happy with our stay and would definitely go back!"
"Excellent location - 15-20 min. walk to Byward Market. Huge salt water pool. We stayed in a basic suite. The room was clean with small kitchen inc. microwave, sink, fridge. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Parking was only $8 underground. The only downfall is that the hotel was extremely busy and you had to wait a long time for the elevators, even though there were four of them (my husband waited 20 minutes for an elevator at 6:30 pm Saturday night). Would definitely stay there again though!!"

"We had an excellent stay, the staff did go the extra mile! We definately would return as our stay was too short. The pool facilities were very nice. We received an upgraded suite for our family. The staff was unaware, but this became a beautiful gift to us for my University graduation."
