Guests praised the cleanliness and general appearance of the common areas and of the rooms. Rooms had a newly renovated appearance, according to guests, and had a modern, welcoming decor. Rooms were well-kept, bright and fresh smelling.
Staff received numerous favourable comments from guests, who commonly described them as helpful, accommodating warm and friendly.
Guests enjoyed the pool and the hot tub area and said it was clean and well-maintained. Guests described the gym as clean with a good selection of equipment.
Location was a big draw for a number of guests who appreciated the hotel's proximity to shopping and restaurants at Centrum (the hotel is located at the east end of the outdoor shopping complex). The Bad
The vast majority of guest comments used for this analysis were full of praise. There were a handful of complaints that were isolated and seemingly not reflective of overall guest impression.
A number of guests complained of noise disturbance from noisy guests in adjacent rooms and in the hallways. Guests found the noise to be particularly problematic coming through the door areas between adjoining rooms. A few guests also complained of traffic noise from the nearby Highway 417.
A couple of guests said that their beds were small, while a handful of other guests felt that the room rate was expensive.
