The Bad
Some guests were expecting more and expressed their disappointment online.

Recent room complaints were: small room, dated décor, dim lighting, a saggy mattress, washroom was small and drafty, room could have been cleaner, no working bathroom fan and difficulty controlling the in-room temperature.

Some found the hotel overpriced. They complained about the room rates, the parking rates, the extra Wi-Fi charges and expensive prices for mini-bar items in the rooms.

Noise affected some guests on occasion. They complained about hearing street noise from lower floors that faced Rideau Street, loud AC units and guests in the hallway.

Other comments found were: no mini-fridge in the room, very expensive mini-bar snacks/drinks in the room with no option for snacks/drinks from vending machines in the hotel, lobby furnishings were worn, renovation job was not impressive, and parking garage was dark and claustrophobic with low ceilings.
