The Bad
While a number of guest reviews used for this analysis were favourable, there were a few common complaints.
Although a number of guests found the historic appearance of the hotel to be charming, others felt that the decor in the rooms specifically needed updating. There was mention of bathrooms - peeling wallpaper and dirty grout.
A few guests felt that the beds were uncomfortable. Some guests found the mattresses too hard, and one guest said that the sheets didn't fit on the beds.
There were some peripheral comments from guests who found that the parking garage was awkward and difficult to access, and from some others who felt that both the room rates and the restaurant food were on the expensive side.
