"Overall I like the Chimo Hotel. I did not like the manager; he refused to give us a cot, suggesting that my employee sleep on the floor. He was not aware of the rules and policies of the hotel and was contradicted by another employee."

"would stay again - middle of the road accomodation"
"across street from shopping mall-good ...next door to a chain restaurant-good ...exit to the 417 out the front door-good ...rooms clean-beds comfy-tv / coffee pot / all working ...front desk staff excellent when attempting to find transport to airport (no shuttle service) ...cant comment on hotel location, as don't know the city ...pricey enough for level of accomodation, but seemed within reason for ottawa hotels"

"Great place"
"I love the location of this Hotel. It is right off hwy exit and walks to large shopping centre. The rooms and cleaning staffs are great people. The front desk staff could be a little more friendly. Overall I enjoyed our stay."

"We will stay there again!"
"Very good value for your dollar. 5 to 7 minutes by car to Parliament Hill or public transportation terminal is right across the road beside the St. Laurent Shopping Mall. The food in "Clancy's" was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast at Quincy's was good, however, service was very slow. The staff were friendly and helpful, even on a very busy Canada Day holiday!"

"In the details"
"Nice hotel, let down slightly by the detail. Internet almost worked, coffee in the room but no milk, room almost unoccupied (fortunately the key didn't work!) Quiet, comfortable and good for working, easy to find - I would stay there again."

"Although the service in the dining room was excellent, I am afraid the quality of the food was less than desirable. The hotel could use an update in the room decor as well as the bathroom fixtures. All in all, I enjoyed my stay there."

"There were too many taxis in the Taxi only spots.
Signage says three but more than that are usually lined up when you round the corner to enter the hotel property, creating traffic where there need not be.
That area should be for the customers and less for the taxis. If taxis want a spot there, then their dispatchers should keep them informed when spots become available.
This was the only nuisance during a very comfortable stay.
For myself, even though I live in the same city as this hotel, I am a home care giver and the "time away" needs to be without hassle.
The hotel and hotel staff should be commended for a great job."
