"Well situated in quiet street but near Elgin Street so good for shopping and easy access to downtown. Safe area for walking around by day and night. Good access to University of Ottawa by footbridge.
Only slight downside was the relative lack of natural light in the suite which meant that artificial lighting was needed all day."

"Downtown comfort"
"Uncrowded swimming pool. Service fine. Quiet street. I stayed there before on a special $69. This time more pricy $129."

"I chose the hotel based on its previous ratings compared to other hotels in the area. As well, I needed a hotel that was close to the University of Ottawa (approximately three blocks from the hotel. Hotel is ideally located as well for its proximity to the sites of the Parliament Buildings, National Arts Centre and the Rideau Canal."

"The Hotel was located in a good location. Quick access to shopping and attractions downtown. Also conveient to Bus services. The staff of the hotel was curtious, frendly and helpful when needed. Security was good. Once I went to the lobby early in the AM, about 2 am to get some snacks out of the machine. The desk clerk came out to see who was there. Very security. The prices were resonable. The restaurant food was good and prices, was good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The Rooms were cosey and comfortable and Neat."

"When we first arrived at the hotel we had not been told that the full amount of the room for both nights had to be put on my credit card until check out, since I did not have that much credit on the card we where told that we had to pay an additional nights stay to stay in the hotel. This would not have been as frustrating if we would have been warned about this ahead of time. After all this was settled they then sent us off with our key card to park our car in the garage, our card did not work and so we buzzed to get in, whomever answered the speaker told us to proceed and that he would open the garage door for us, so we did not knowing that this would result in being trapped in a garage for the following half hour since you need your key to get through any door or use the elevator. We had to flag down a car and ask them if they could possibly let us in with there key. We then made our way back to the front desk and explained what had happened, the employee just looked at us gave us new keys and said nothing to try and rectify the situation, a simple sorry would have done. We then asked to speak to a manager where she offered us free parking for the duration of our stay there. We did enjoy our stay at your hotel but the process of checking in was a bit of a painful experience. Sincerely, Lisette Poulin"

"Hotel was immaculate. Staff was great. Only surprise was a $14.00 per night fee for parking Was this spelled out in your literature? If not patrons should be aware of this added charge. Despite this charge would return again for a longer stay."

"Very lovely hotel in a quiet area of downtown Ottawa. We were within walking distance to many attractions which was great for my husband as I was on business and gone all day.
Quite convenient to have indoor parking, a restaurant on the premises and an indoor pool made our stay very enjoyable. We will definitely be returning."
