The Bad
Guests provided mixed reviews for this hotel in recent online reviews that were read for this report. Problems at this hotel centred on rooms that were not well cleaned, a loud nightclub beneath the hotel that prevented sleep, no elevator for the 3-storey hotel and very dated conditions overall.

Many guests described their rooms as small and cramped. Several guests mentioned that their rooms were the smallest they had ever seen in a hotel and a couple of reviewers said that they had to turn sideways to move around the bed.

Many reviewers mentioned that they were disturbed by loud music from a neighbouring bar and one guest was also disturbed by slamming doors in the halls. A few reviewers were disrupted by noise from rowdy guests within the hotel, and one reviewer complained that guests who had become drunk and aggressive were not appropriately handled by the front desk.

Many reviewers complained that this hotel did not have an elevator.

Some guests reported that the parking lot was not well lit and had a limited amount of spaces which were taken up by the bar patrons next door.

The staff received mixed reviews. Some guests said they were friendly and other found them disinterested and poorly attired. Others said they were unhelpful with placing them in the rooms they had reserved or quieter rooms if travelling with young children or rooms on the first floor for the elderly, the disabled and those with a baby. The housekeeping staff was regularly reported as doing a poor job of cleaning and preparing the rooms for the next guest.

And although many guests said their rooms were clean, in recent online reviews used for this report, there were also many complaints about cleanliness inconsistencies in the guest rooms such as dust, musty smells, mould in the bathroom, poor drainage in the bathroom, and stains on the bedding. Also several reviewers were disappointed to find that their rooms had not been cleaned between guests, prior to their stay.

Some reviewers complained about malfunctioning amenities which included the guest laundry, the ice machine and the air conditioning.
