"Little room to move."
"Great location in downtown Orillia. The room we stayed in however, was very small. No balcony, no sitting area, and little room for storage. It was actually hard to move about in the room, even with only 2 people. We expected a larger room."

"Accomodations were exactly what web site promised."
"I was skeptical when I had to park in snow up to my knees. (snow removal was delayed) However coming from the North I am aware at just how fast snow can accumulate. But everything was great aside of this. Warm welcome, staff were accomomdating with directions, events in the area. I really like that service, made me feel at home. I will come again to this hotel."

"Was married in Orillia in 1962, but stayed at the old Orillia Hotel (no longer around). Pleasant stay,nice room and reasonably priced."

"Wish the room and the double bed was a little bigger, there was not much space in the room to move around inspite of a smaller bed.
Would recommend the hotel becuase of its location and cleanliness but would advise guests about the size of the room, and what to expect."

"This is an old hotel with back alley parking, which is not weel marked from the road. the rooms are smaller than the average hotel room.
They did not have my room reserved nor was my confirmation listed in thier system. the price quoted through the oline booking was 80% higher than the price quoted by the front desk attendant.
Overall rating of my on line booking experiance and satisafction with the hotel - 2 . I choose to stay at a differnt hotel"

"We ordered a room with a Hottub. Got a room with a Jaccuzzi and no working air conditioning. The room was hot the sink did not have any tiles on the front or the side of the sink in the bathroom. The room was so small they only had one chair in the room for two people. Not what we are use to at a Quality Hotel. The ice machine did not work and they served breakfast right above our room at 7:30 in the morning. Chairs scraping on the floor is not easy to sleep through. The whole experience is not one I wish to remember."

"We did not stay that night.
The Jaczuzzi room was in the basement and the air condition was not
repaired so it smelt very musty and damp and was impossible to stay
in is. We drove to BArrie instead - Not impressed

"I have previously stayed in this hotel...and it was beautiful. But this stay was horrible. The first room I was in, was in the basement, it had a strong moldy smell, and it was very damp, it was so strong I could not stay in that room. I asked for another room, they only had a small room with a double bed available. I took it. Went out for the evening and came back to the hotel around 10pm...the room was like a sauna..the air conditioning was not working. I called down to the front desk, and they promptly came to the room...but could not get the air to work...they had no other rooms available...so I had no choice but to stay. I couldn't open a window..it was like staying in a sauna..it must have been over a 100 in that room...the hotel clerk did give me a small discount...but it was not enough."
