The Good
Many guests enjoyed their stays and left positive reviews.

They found the rooms spacious and clean with comfortable beds, and although it was close to the highway guests typically enjoyed a quiet rest.

Guests appreciated the location for having excellent highway access and a Tim Hortons nearby. Some were business travellers that accessed areas in Oakville or Burlington, and some had come for events in downtown Toronto and utilized the GO Train for travel. (They were able to park their car at the GO Train station for free.) Some liked taking a walk down to the lakeshore where there were pleasant views, restaurants, bars and boutique shops.

Guests either really liked the staff or really didn't like them it seemed. Guests who liked them rated them very highly and thought they were fantastic. They were described as professional, attentive and going out of their way to help. Sometimes guests were impressed with the housekeepers and one guest was impressed that the hotel had cleared the parking lot quickly when it snowed.

Guests who booked this hotel for family gathering and parties seemed very impressed with the organization, attention to detail and the catering. Also guests typically enjoyed the food at the restaurant, although there were a few naysayers about the breakfast.

The Bad
Some guests were not as impressed with their stays.

Occasionally guests complained about dated rooms and bathrooms. There were several complaints about the gym not having all machines in good repair and not resembling the pictures online of a modern-looking gym.

A few guests found noise disturbances at the hotel. They mentioned hockey teams that used the hallways to party, rooms that faced the Bronte Road off ramp conducted highway noise into the rooms through the AC unit and loud wedding guests returning to their rooms.

Guests were sometimes displeased with the service and policies of the hotel. Some did not like the room rates changing over the course of longer stays, the selling of bottled water, the mini-bar instead of a mini-fridge in the room for guest use, and some guests encountered confrontational staff members.

A few guests complained about the food or slow service at the restaurant. The bar was described as small and crowded with expensive drinks.

Wi-Fi received low scores in online reviews.
