Guests really liked this hotel's location and felt that it was close to shops, restaurants and entertainment (Oakville Entertainment Centrum is an 8-minute drive away). Guests also thought that the hotel was close to the QEW (4-minute drive) and within a reasonable distance to Pearson International Airport (26-minute drive).
Rooms were spacious, bright and clean throughout, according to guests.
Guests described the staff as friendly and courteous. Front desk staff were mentioned specifically. Staff responded quickly to guest requests and were flexible and thoughtful.
There were a number of comments from guests who felt that there was good value in the price point offered at this hotel.
Several guests enjoyed the pool area.
The Bad
Most of the reviews used for this analysis were positive, but there were a couple of guest complaints, most notably about noise disturbance.
A few guests were bothered by noise from other guests in the hallways and in adjacent rooms. They suggested that more could be done to soundproof the walls. Guests said that they could clearly hear conversations and TVs from rooms around them.
The beds are Garden Sleep System adjustable beds but a number of guests had difficulty adjusting them and found that they were excessively firm and uncomfortable.
A few guests complained about weak water pressure in the showers.
