There was a sense from guests that there was good value received for the price point. Several guests commented on affordable pricing, and were pleased with what they received in return for the room rate.
Guests received good service from staff at this hotel, who were friendly and professional. Front desk staff were mentioned specifically for their speedy, efficient, check-in/check-out process.
Location was a big draw for a number of guests, who liked this hotel's proximity to shopping (Sheridan Mall, 9-minute drive), the QEW (3-minute drive), and to the vast array of restaurants within a 10-minute drive.
There were some additional comments about comfy beds, clean rooms, good quality breakfast, and from guests who enjoyed they gym and the pool.
The Bad
While most of the reviews used for this analysis were favourable, guests did have a few complaints in common, including aging decor and the size of the rooms.
Several guests suggested that updates and maintenance were in order to the decor at this hotel. Peeling wallpaper and paint, cracked ceilings, bedding and worn carpets were mentioned specifically. In addition, a few reviewers thought that the rooms were small.
Some guests were bothered by noise from guests in adjacent rooms and in the hallways. A few guests complained of noisy, rattling air conditioning units in their rooms.
A number of guests said that the breakfast room was small and cramped, and that there was not adequate seating to accommodate all the guests that wanted to eat at the same time.
There were also some complaints about slow and spotty Wi-FI access.
