"Day time desk person screwed up room assignments, voided our door passes after we left for the evening, gave us a 6:30 wake up call for someone else, and the jet tub when turned on filled the tub with brown rust."

"I stayed overnight to attend a function in Simcoe, so spent very little time at the hotel. Hotel was clean and staff I talked to were friendly. There was a complimentary breakfast that was served outside the main restaurant. It was sub-standard ... although we did arrive only minutes before the area was scheduled to close, which might have had an impact.
The one thing that did "urk" me was paying a fee of $5.59 ($4.84 US)for booking the reservation online.

"I was really looking forward to swimming and sitting and relaxing in the hot tub. This is the first hotel I have been at for a long time that has not has these. I usually have paid the same with little more pleasures. Although I must say my room was clean and very confortable."

"Continental breakfast was very bad, old muffins and terible cofee.
Recommend the hotel as there may not be a better one in Simcoe. The swimmingpool is great."

"Call ahead and make sure that your room has been made up. When we arrived at 5pm, we were dissapointed to find that our original room had not been made up. There was no one at reception either which made it even more frustrating. After repeated ringing of the bell someone from the restuarant appeared. Her only response to our complaint was "that sucks", and no apology was given although a new room was assigned. The regular reception finally showed up about an hour later when we were in the restuarant having dinner. She didn't offer any apologies either."

"It was a pleasure to have no problems at the hotel. I have athsma, so staying in a nonsmoking room makes a big difference to being able to breathe easily and sleep at night. All my interactions with the staff were pleasant, and I appreciated their courtesy and efficiency. I will definitely stay at this hotel again for future trips to the area."
