The Good
This hotel offered a quieter and more relaxing stay from the larger chain hotels in the area and guests usually found a pleasant stay.

Guests were wowed by the spectacular views of of the US and Canadian falls from this hotel. Even corner city view rooms offer a partial view of the Falls, according to some reviewers.

Rooms (although small) offered comfy beds, a good selection of cable channels and guests found them very clean.

The location was perfect. It was an easy walk to Falls attractions, the casino for cheaper parking and dining and other area restaurants.

Guests liked the staff. Valet staff were described as attentive and desk staff were described as welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Guests said dining was good on site. They often said that Marilyn's Restaurant on the 26th floor offered amazing views and great food.
The Bad
Guests reviewers that critiqued this hotel in online reviews offered several areas where the hotel could improve its service and offering.

Some guests found the bathroom and rooms to be rather small in this hotel. Although many guests liked the decor, some considered it tacky and spartan. Additionally, some guests missed having certain amenities in the rooms such as coffeemakers, full-length dressing mirrors, shelf space, in-room safes and folding stands for suitcases.

Some thought the rooms needed some work. They noted: room much worse than photos online, worn carpet, a broken tub/jetted tub, chipped furniture, a hard bed, pillows too big, shower needs a shelf and the glass end table was cracked.

Occasionally guests complained about the two elevator system for getting to the top floors and found the second elevator old and worrisome.

Several guests did not like paying extra for valet parking and some felt the hotel was overpriced based on the size of the rooms and the minimal amenities offered (no pool, no spa, no fitness centre, no free breakfast etc).

A couple of recent reviewers complained of bathrooms that lacked privacy, with a glass wall allowing others to see those using the washroom.

Occasionally guests complained of a poor Wi-Fi signal.
