"We enjoy this hotel very much. Good Price for what you get. We have stayed at least 5 times. All times in Jacuzzi suite. We love it. Stay about twice a year. It is also clean."

"You get what you pay for"
"The location of the hotel is fairly close to clifton hill (10-15min walk). The indoor pool is nice, but somewhat small, 5' deep end. the whirlpool is hot, water changed daily, but the jets are weak. dry sauna is nice, but needs 20 min to warm up. you get a coupon for a cheap all you can eat breakfast at golden griddle each morning you stay, as well as a steakhouse (that we never went to) ($8 before tax with coupon) across their parking lot. I prefer it to the busier Almac's buffet breakfast just down the street (reg. price $7 breakfast, no free drinks incl. water) because the food had more variety. the rooms were decent. Old school CRT tv, mini-fridge. workout room had all broken equipment. ice machine on first floor only. old mattresses no pillowtop. bathroom is older fashioned. our drain plug didn't release, so we removed it to shower. the curtain is obviously too big for the shower unit, so it drags on the tub floor. free parking. wifi, but not fast or reliable. no big issues with customer service, except that when they're not busy, they stay in their office/not the front desk. you need to poke your head in if you need something."

"Morning Staff need more coffee"
"Check-In was smooth considering the amount of people waiting to check-in as it was new years. Counter staff were polite and in a great mood! Jokes all around! lol. The room was so much better then we expected. Comfy beds, lots of room to move around without bumping into each other, CLEAN. Only 2 problems we had were 1. The wi-fi sucked. never got more then one bar on either tablet, phone or macbook. 2. A small leak from the toilet. We didn't notice it until we left. We assumed the water on the floor was from after taking a shower. When we reported it on check out the girl at the counter was very short with us. Only asked if it was reported. Another lady wrote it down. Handed us the wrong receipt and walked away. When we called her back she acted very annoyed."

"weve stayed here twice and will continue to stay here. Indoor and out door pools is a bonus. The deal you get for breakfast is fantastic. Cant really beat the price!!"

"The 8 is great."
"The Super 8 on Ferry Street is a clean, well-run hotel, and I'd recommend it to anyone. The deal on the buffet at the Golden Griddle on-site was also very nice, but it stands on its own without having to offer a lot of extras."

"I think this hotel was very clean and well maintained! The whirlpool in our room was awesome! We had all freshly washed sheets and towels! The only thing was we went to check in at 1 pm ( considering thats what its said on the paper) and the room wasnt ready til 2 pm, not that big of a deal! The walk to the falls was about 15 mins, i didnt mind that especially since the weather wasnt too bad! overall i would recommend this hotel!"

"I originally reserved one night at $93.60 Canadian and then called and reserved a second night. The person who took the additional night said it would be the same price for the second night. However, the clerk charged $120.00 Canadian for the second night and said that since it was a Friday that was the rate. I said that I that when I reserved it I was told it was $93.60 for both nights. The clerk was insistant that it was $120 and charged me that rate. The hotel is in a good location and is a good rate, I would recommend it, however, make sure you clear the rate with the hotel as well as with your service - that disappointed me."
