"Good value for your money"
"Room was good sized and having the refrigerator was extremely good feature. Was located close to all that we were interested in. It will be excellent when the carpets are replaced in the hotel. They were older and did have some stains. The staff was most helpful and did whatever was required to make our stay comfortable. We were able to compare our room with a room that friends had at the same time & ours had much the same amenities but costing half the price!"

"The people who use the water park in the hotel wet and in bathing suits, they should have to be fully dressed when they leave the water park. Location was good."

"the hotel is old but recently renovated - there is no pool / hot tub but you can use the ones at their sister properties (crowne plaza and sheraton i think) . The rooms are clean and the staff are extremely nice and helpful - it is a busy tourist town and the staff could be much less helpful - but they were great! We needed a late check out
the only drawback is that all rooms face a common inside courtyard / sitting area and there is noise from this area if people are loud - but that can happen at any hotel - disruptive guests.......
we also got the rainbow room food discount which was a fantastic deal for the food which was awesome ! we had three rooms and thought this was great value for our money and a super place to stay"

"only problem is parking. parking was cheap ($6 for the stay) but the parking lots attached to the building were full, so we had to park in the casino parking lot. this added a 5 min walk to the car."

"Had a great time in Niagara. The sites were great. Hotel was great and located near everything. Left the car parked for 2 days and just walked at our own pace to every thing there was to see. The weather was perfect and all in all was very satisfied with our short holiday stay.
Great time had by all.

"The beds were so hard that I barely slept at all. I think if you book a hotel that the parking should be included, which I wasn't told until I was there that I had pay $6.00 to park the car. To add insult to injury even the hotel registraion parking area was so small that I could hardly park the car. The room included a coffee maker with coffee and cream packets but to plug in the coffee maker I had to move the dresser and I couldn't so I had to wake up my husband to move it for me. He was not happy to be woken up just to help put the coffee on. The hotel had nothing to offer, not even their own restaurant, Pekins was adjacent to the hotel but I find them expensive. The hotel itself was very old and needed to renovations. Would I stay there again, NO."

"we stayed at this hotel about 4 or 5 yrs ago and they were remodeling then, they are still remodeling. there were no anemities and barely any comfort. the heat had to either be blasting or turned off there was no happy medium. nothing was comfortable about this place at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11"

"Comfortable stay. The housekeeping service was great. Was surprised that there was no hairdryer or iron/ironing board in the room - but didn't ask if I could have one. Otherwise everyone was great with us."

"Very clean and close to all attractions. It was a short 3 minute walk to the Falls. Also, the hotel is extrememly close to the Clifton Hills area. If coming in from the US, take the Rainbow Bridge - the hotel's right on the other side (Canadian side) of the bridge."

"I booked my room at the asme time as another couple, we checked in at exactly the same time. Upon checkout, I found out I paid $22.00, $10.00 on the room rate and another $12.00 Misc. charge that the desk person could not explain.
When we got to our room and my wife needed to use the bathroom, she had to clean poop and pee off the toilet seat.
Again at checkout this was brought up but because we supposedly "negotiated our rate" which I did not realize we did, they were not friendly or willing to give us a break.
I will not stay there again."

"I think for the cost of the room there should be a coffee pot and blowdryer in the room. I have stayed at hotels where the rate was less and they were equipped with both. We stay at the Village Inn because of location and the convience of getting in and out.The chairs in our room had a damp feeling like they had just been cleaned."

"I reserved two rooms for this trip. One was for my sister and her husband. After arriving home she realized she had left her new earrings in the room (they we a xmas gift from her son). I called housekeeping and left a message. They called me first thing the next morning and within two days my sister had her earrings back. This says alot about the integrity of the hotel's employees. We were very impressed and also relieved to get them back."
