Overview
This hotel is a 6-minute walk from Clifton Hill attractions and restaurants, with the WeGo bus stop just outside the hotel.

The hotel has 198 smoke-free and pet-free rooms over 7 floors with elevator access.

All rooms include free Wi-Fi, free local calls, a 37” flat screen TV with cable, free movie channels and pay-per-view movies, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a desk, data ports, a laptop-size safe, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and climate control.

Rooms are furnished with 2 or 3 queen beds or 1 king bed.

Room extras include a single or queen-size sofabed, an electric fireplace, a 2-bedroom guest room, a 1-person jetted tub, an electric sauna, a 2-person hot tub and balconies. Accessible rooms are available.

Parking is $10 per day.

Denny’s restaurant is open 24 hours daily. Also on site are Pizza Hut Express, KFC Express and Baskin Robins which have seasonal hours.

The Good
Guests often enjoyed their stay at this hotel.

Rooms were clean, updated, spacious and well appointed with new furniture and carpets. Many enjoyed their personal hot tubs and balconies.

The location was well liked. It was an easy walk to restaurants, sports bars and attractions on Clifton Hill. The WeGo bus stop was right outside the hotel.

Staff were described as friendly, professional and knowledgeable concerning the area.

Guests typically liked the pool. They appreciated the outdoor portion with deck chairs and the indoor hot tub and sauna. There was an adult-only time between 10 pm and 11 pm.

Guests often thought the hotel offered good value.

Guests also liked: Pac Man game in the arcade, safety grips in bathroom, gracious treatment by the staff who extended guest’s parking after the check out time, and ATM right in the lobby.

The Bad
Some guests had complaints.

Recent room complaints were: old towels and sheets, shower was narrow, slippery and poorly designed and shower head was not adjustable, whirlpool jets did not work, old AC unit, plugs fell out of the receptacles and pillows and beds were too firm.

Guests often complained about the Wi-Fi being intermittent.

Many guests considered Denny’s overpriced.

Noise disturbance was mentioned from: the street, guests in the hallways, children running in the halls, maids in the morning, the laundry room and guests in the lobby.

Some found the parking lot limited because Denny’s customers were using the lot as well.

Other comments found were: staff argued about the optional tourist fee added to the bill as though it was mandatory, the hotel is getting old, no coffee in the lobby, no continental breakfast, no ice machine on the 7th floor, pool was chilly and dirty and elevators were slow.
