"good place to stay"
"The motel was clean great rate equal to rooms we have paid 100.00 bucks for a night. The only downside was the shower it had a very slow drain and the water went hotter the longer you stayed in it.... maybe could use some fixing. Staff was friendly. We were glad it was clean no bugs and the beds were VERY comfortable. Foam mattresses not to firm either. Close to restaurants a bit from down town but is still close to take a cab downtown or to casino a quick walk to outlet mall."

"Well the main thing that was really bad about this hotel was the air conditioner. It was really hot and our air conditioner didnt work properly. It was leaking water so bad that there was a puddle forming in the corner. We contacted the front desk a few times about it but they kept saying that they would send someone to look at it. I don't know if anyone showed up because we werent in the room much but I do know that it didnt get fixed. I also thought the breakfast was mediocre at best. It was hard for my kids to find something they liked. Also I didnt like having to go to the front desk for toilet paper because there was none in our room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"What a nice hotel, service was great, rooms were nice and big and very clean. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."

"The room smelled of dampness, The toilet ran continuously and there was a pipe close by that continuously made noise; thus making it very hard to sleep The air conditioner was old, noisy and smelled The carpet was old and stained The room is way over due for a renovation The property need work as well Over all a very poor motel that I would NOT return to. This makes me question the quality of HJ's every where. I will not be staying at HJ location any time soon"

"i would recommend based only on the fact that it was fairly clean and decently priced considering it was a weekend. However, the bedside lamps didn't work, neither did the standing floor lamp. Nor was there any shampoo - altho perhaps its not usually included. The continental breakfast included some pretty lame cupcakes/muffins and other pastry type things, but i won't complain too much as there was a Tim Horton's across the street."

"- The Air conditioner's cold air stream couldn't be directed anywhere, so it blew right in to my ear the whole night through. At least in room 135 you could fix the air conditioner and maybe clean it at the same time. - There was a coffee maker, but no coffee. - The mattresses were too soft for an adult."

"We recently visited Ontario from British columbia. We made reservations at the above hotel for 2 adjoining rooms. Upon arriving and relaxing in our rooms, we discovered that the sheets on the bed had rips in them. The following morning after waking up and in the process of packing etc....I was 'making' the bed and found very obvious blood stain that was on the mattress pad - visible through the sheet. The remote control for the television did not work. This is also the first hotel that we have stayed at that did not provide shampoo or conditioner for the shower - is this typical of an express? I do have pictures that show these conditions. We did speak to the manager upon checking out and she informed us that they had new cleaning staff and 'it would be dealt with'."

"This is very far from the falls. Yes, its on Lundy's Lane which is a "tourist district" but there are motels and restaurants there and nothing else. Also, this is about the furthest motel on Lundy's Lane away from the Falls and Clifton Hill which has all the nice cool shops and attractions. a good 10-15 min drive. There are 100 nearer motels to Clifton Hill and the Falls....so forget about this..."
