The hotel is also in close proximity to many of the Falls' popular tourist attractions, such as Journey Behind the Falls (2 minutes driving time), Marineland (5 minutes driving time), Bird Kingdom (3 minutes driving time), and The Butterfly Gallery (7 minutes driving time). Fallsview Casino is 400 metres (about a 5 minutes walk) away.
Shopping can be found at Canada One Factory Outlets (roughly 8 minutes driving time), Centre Gift Shop (approximately 3 minutes driving time) and Brand Name Shoe Warehouse (roughly 6 minutes driving time).

Early dinner specials are available at the Skylon Tower at 4:30pm and 5:00pm, and admission to the Skylon Tower Ride-to-the-Top is free for diners.

The GoodGuests complimented the Holiday Inn at the Falls on its location, cleanliness, and customer service.
Most guests, of the reviews used in this analysis, commented positively on the location of the hotel in relation to the Falls' attractions and the casino. Comments included, "minutes from everything", "great location", and "perfect".
The rooms were praised by several reviewers, and were described as "exceptionally clean", and "spacious". The beds were described by some as "to die for" and "extremely comfortable", and a few lodgers commented they were pleased that each room had a balcony.
The staff were complimented by many guests, and characterized as kind and even "excellent. The hotel was considered to be a good value for the money spent, by some.
Several reviewers also remarked positively on the free parking, calling it a "huge bonus", given the busy area and close proximity to the Falls' many tourist attractions.
The Bad
Guests commented negatively upon the noise, decor, dust in the rooms, and the steep hill to the Falls.
Some guests remarked that there was too much noise in the hallways, when people were coming off the elevators, and that the walls were thin.
The rooms were described by some lodgers as tired, dated, and in need of renovations. Old and stained carpets were pointed out by a few, and some guests also mentioned the rooms were dusty.
Although most were pleased that the parking was free, a few reviewers commented that the parking lot was "disorganized" and they were forced to park "far away" from the hotel when the lot was busy.
A few guests remarked that the hill from the hotel to the Falls was steep, however these guests did mention they had some mobility issues.
