The GoodGuests who stayed at this hotel generally enjoyed their visit and they frequently paid compliments to the views from the hotel, the guest suites, the staff at the hotel, and the breakfast.
Many guests had suites that overlooked the falls and this feature seemed to improve their stays significantly. For example, some of these guests called the view "wonderful," "beautiful," or "fantastic." Some guests also indicated that they were able to enjoy a view of the falls from the hotel's restaurant.
Some guests had other compliments for their rooms besides the views. Many guests called their suites "clean" while others were happy with how spacious they were.
The staff at the hotel also received a lot of compliments. Many guests found the employees to be "friendly" and/or "helpful" while some guests said they were "great" or "excellent."
Several guests also said good things about the breakfast at the hotel. Sometimes these guests appreciated that it was included in their room rates while some others commented directly on the quality of the breakfast itself, indicating that they "enjoyed" it.
Lastly, guests generally rated the location of the hotel highly. A large part of this likely had to do with the views of the falls but some guests mentioned that they were close to shopping, restaurants, and tourist attractions (ie. Casino Niagara).
The Bad
Some guests did not fully enjoy their stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Niagara Falls. There were many concerns expressed over the value patrons received for the prices they paid. Some guests also indicated that they found the hotel to be crowded.
The guests that were concerned with value sometimes complained about the cost of their room rates directly. Occasionally guests that did not get the view they wanted were disappointed and one guest felt as though he paid a lot and did not get the main thing he wanted - a view of the falls.
Guests that seemed upset about the costs they paid were unhappy with fees for Internet or parking, both of which cost extra. Some guests called the parking "expensive" while occasionally a guest seemed annoyed with having to pay for Wifi. One guest, for example, said “Everything you touched in your room had a price tag.”
This hotel also had over 500 guest rooms and some guests seemed bothered by the busy pace. The hotel was called "crowded" by multiple guests and some felt that the elevators were "slow."
Despite these complaints the hotel seemed to be generally well liked and the ratings were high.
Priceline.com guest ratings averaged to 8.5 points out of 10 and the hotel ranked 7th of 118 Niagara Falls properties.
Booking.com guest ratings averaged to 8.3 points out of 10 and the site had 85 reviews.
