"If you just want a cheap hotel then it suits it's purpose but keep in mind we attend in November, prices would be very different during the summer months and therefore maybe not as good a deal."

"We didn't spend too much time at the hotel - arrived by 6pm, dropped off our stuff & went down to the Falls & Clifton Hill - got back to the room at 11pm and went right to bed.
The beds were comfy, my only complaint is that the curtains were too small for the windows, being a motel the lights from outside were shining in our room ALL NIGHT - no hair dryer, no shampoo, ice buckets free, ice $2 per bag....
For the price I'd stay again IF THEY'D FIX THE CURTAINS!!"

"the manageress was very very nice
the room was clean but stale
the window in the bathroom had no screen and the door did not close and on the inside had a great hole in it
the bathroom sink was so close below a shelf above the sink that one could not get one's face near the taps.
the door to the corridor rattled, we had to set a chair against it to stop the rattel
the two chairs in the room did not even match
there was not even one picture in this room to eleviate the boring cream wall (not that this is really important0
We had a room in what is now the CLARION opposite this econo lodge last year for the same price and it was superior to what we had yesterday."
