"The minute I looked at the disgusting carpets on the way down to our room I knew it wasn't going to be good. The room we had was located down in what looked almost like a basement. Barely any light and the room was located about ten feet from the back doors of the Hilton hotel pool that was right in front of us and that's the view we got. The bathroom was probably cleaned, although with so many years of staining on the old fixtures, the poor cleaning staff couldn't have possibly got it to look decent. One ply dollar store toilet paper topped it all off. I realize we had a smoking room but this was ridiculous. For $188.00 I didn't expect the Hilton but I expected something better than a $60.00 motel room way up Lundy's Lane."

"This hotel is in need of a MAJOR interior face lift.
The wall paper was peeling; windows were moldy and mildewed from the air conditioner; there was mold in the bathroom, the tiles had had some sort of poor treatment to cover aging grout, the beds needed replacing. The sheets, however were wonderful!"

"The main problems were that the air conditioner was not working, they did not provide an iron or ironing board in either room and the second day when the maid came to clean up she made the bed but did not change the sheets. the bathroom shower could use some updating and a bit more cleaning."

"This hotel should be torn down, they basically took an old hotel, slapped on a coat of paint, and are trying to pass it off as a nice place.
They have a drop ceiling in the rooms and bathrooms (great breading ground for mold), also the bathroom showers have no regulators on them so I basically either froze or got 3rd degree burns when I tried to shower, as there was no way I was going to take a bath in there.
Also the rooms only had 8 stations on their TV and only 3 that were actually clear, I can't believe they could not afford basic "Digital" TV.
I could never get any ice in their 1 ice machine they had and the rooms just creeped me out the whole time I was there. I felt I was in a backroad Motel in Alabama......."

"The rooms are Very outdated, The T.V. had NO channels, most were very fuzzy or wouldnt hold a picture. The Bathroom had NO exhaust fan. The room was not cleaned up nor were the towels replaced for our second days stay. We had to go to the front desk to get towels for ourselves on the second day. It just wasnt very confortable. I would rather spend a few more Dollars to be Totally honest and get a much more confortable atmosphere w/ consistant attention taken towards the needs of the Paying customer. Cleanliness is imnportant to myself and my family and we just didn't feel that in this room, especially with the non attention towards the bathtowels and making of the beds."

"The hotel was under reservations when I stayed, but no signs were posted. Also,in our room there was paint chipping off the bathroom wall, dust in the hallways (from renovations) and the room was very small for the large rate we were charged. One year ago, same month, we stayed at the same hotel, the room was 10 times bigger and better even though they were both classified as "doubles" and the rate was higher this year. This just seems wrong to me seeing as the hotel is not up to standard and the room was smaller. I was greatly disappointed and will not return to that hotel for the staff member that we talked to about the situation made it seem like it was our fault, instead of trying satisfy us. Susan was actaully rude, instead of listening to out frustration, she defended the hotel with statments that were not true. "The dust is in the hallways because of the construction on the road out in front (of the hotel)" Our room was located on the back of the hotel and you have to pass through 3 doors to get to it, the dust was not from the road.
I really enjoyed the hotel last year, that is why we returned this year, and I am very sorry at the results of the trip."

"The room we had faced the back of a new building so looking out the window was pointless. I assume before they started building it may have had a view of the falls but thats was then I guess.
The room was ok but the hallway was very depressing and dark and being that we were on vactions the late thing you wanted to see was someplace depressing but other than that it was ok...... I don't think I'd stay there again however. Where it is a short walk (block and a half) to the HorseShoe falls it's a bit of a walk to Clifton Hill.
However if your interest is the new Casino you are a parking Lot away..thats good."

"We had a very pleasant time and for additional charge we got upgraded to juccuzi suit. I wish I had time to use the pool because it looked very very nice but since we checkin so very late and the checkout was 11 am, we couldn't manage to take advantage of the pool.
The front desk reception was very pleasant and helpful."
