Overview
The Days Inn Clifton Hill Casino is located on Victoria Avenue in Niagara Falls, Ontario between Clifton Hill and Walnut Street. The hotel is within short walking distance of many tourist attractions including Casino Niagara, the Rumours Night Club, the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum, and the Hard Rock Cafe.

The waterfalls that make the area famous can also be viewed from points that are a short walk from the property.

Hotel facilities include an indoor pool, a whirlpool, a sauna, one to two restaurants (depending on the season), and temperature controlled underground parking for $10 per night. The Applebee's restaurant located in the same building as the hotel is not open during the winter months. The hotel offers a free continental breakfast.

Pets are welcomed for $30 per stay. Guests are asked to provide a refundable $200 damage deposit for pet stays and will be charged $100 for extra cleaning should that be required.

The hotel is seven stories high and features 138 guest rooms. Those guest rooms have either one king bed, two double beds, or two queen beds. Common amenities in the hotel rooms include chairs, clock radios, free Internet access, and cable television. The hotel does offer pet friendly rooms in the two double bed category.

Many people specifically mentioned the close walk to the Casino Niagara, the close walk to the falls, and the selection of restaurants in the nearby vicinity. Guests also frequently mentioned that they enjoyed being close to Clifton Hill, a promenade in Niagara Falls with several tourist attractions.

Numerous guests also liked this hotel because they found the rate to be inexpensive. Guests thought the property was a value-pick and many voiced their approval over their rate in conjunction with the convenient location. For some guests, the rate made the hotel a candidate for future stays, even if they had some concerns with the property.

The Bad
Several guests expressed varying concerns with this property with complaints over the room, the Internet, and the staff standing out. There were also some guests who felt that parking at the hotel was too expensive at $11 per night.

In regard to the room, guests frequently made negative statements about their experiences with relatively few guests saying something positive. Some guests thought that the room was dirty when they arrived at the hotel with a stained carpet mentioned on a few different occasions. Some other guests expressed concerns over bed bugs while others said that their hotel room seemed old. 

Occasionally guests said that their room had no coffee maker or that their television didn't work. Furthermore, several guests complained about bad smells in their rooms.

Numerous guests also complained about the Internet service not meeting their expectations. These guests said that either the signal was weak in their room or that they could only get access in the lobby.

Many guests also complained about the hotel's staff, people who were often portrayed as rude, inconvenienced by guest concerns, and sometimes argumentative. There was some balance on this issue - some guests found the staff friendly - but overall staff attitude seemed to be a problem.
