The Bad
Guests that criticized the hotel did not seem too emotional nor did they have an abundance of complaints.
Several guests didn't like that breakfast was not included with their room rates. One of these disappointed guests claimed to have stayed at the property multiple times over the years and indicated that they used to provide a complimentary breakfast and he seemed upset that the practice had changed.
Other guests felt as though the hotel and/or the rooms were dated and many guests called this hotel old. There were often complaints about an area of the property that was referred to as the courtyard area, a separate section or wing of the hotel. People who were put into this section of the property often asked to be switched to a room in the main building.
One guest who experienced both sections of the hotel - the courtyard building/wing and the main building - said they were "like night and day" with the main building more preferred. He said "the courtyard" was "more like a dingy motel - dull lighting, gross bathrooms and bedding" and he was glad that staff moved him, upon request, into the main building where he enjoyed a better room.
