The GoodGuests that stayed at the Best Western Fallsview in Niagara Falls, Ontario had some mixed opinions of the hotel but overall several guests seemed satisfied. The hotel was well-liked mainly for its location and its price however the staff at the hotel and the guest rooms also received some compliments.
The location of the hotel was well-liked for several different reasons. Some guests enjoyed being close to the casino, many guests liked being close to viewpoints of the falls, while many others liked being near downtown or near to the attractions.
In regard to the price, several guests considered the hotel a good pick for a fair room rate. Guests frequently indicated that they were happy with what they paid and one guest, for example, said that the hotel was "priced well." Other guests said that they got a "good price" or that the property was "worth the price" that was charged.
The staff were commonly described as "helpful" and/or "friendly" and the rooms were well-liked for being clean, for being spacious, and for offering comfortable beds.
The Bad
Guests that did not fully approve of this hotel commonly had one major complaint: numerous guests were dissatisfied with the parking situation at the hotel.
Guests that were unhappy with the parking often simply indicated that they wished that it was free. Other guests that accepted the charge felt that the nightly rate was expensive. Some guests were surprised by the charge ($10) at check in and that created some negativity. One guest felt that the hotel's lot did not offer enough spots.
Occasionally guests complained about the hotel for other reasons. For example, some guests felt that breakfast should have been included in their rates. Other guests indicated that what they ended up paying for breakfast at the hotel was expensive.
There were many guests who complained about things that were broken at the hotel or at least not functioning properly. A few guests said that the air conditioning didn't work well while others felt that the elevator was too slow (one guest claimed to be stuck for 20 minutes).
