Overview
Overlooking Lake Rousseau, with the Windermere Marina a 1-minute walk away and Highway 141 about a 13-minute drive away, Windermere House (open May through October) is geared towards travellers who prefer a full-service resort-style hotel near the water. With an 18-hole golf course only 5 minutes away on foot, this is also well located for guests who like to golf.

This non-smoking hotel has 57 air-conditioned guest rooms and suites, each offering free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a mini-fridge, a bathrobe for each guest, a desk, a hair dryer and an iron and ironing board. Standard rooms offer one queen, one king or two double beds, while various rooms and suites offer additional amenities such as a kitchen, a separate bedroom, a jetted tub, a fireplace and a living room/dining room. Some rooms have balconies and/or a view of the water.

The hotel also offers a four-bedroom cottage, with a full kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, a dining room and sleeping accommodations for up to eight people.
