Guests had mixed opinions about this hotel but there were guests who had extended stays and found the hotel a decent place to stay at a cheaper rate.
Guests who liked the hotel described their rooms as basically furnished, but clean with kitchenettes that were well stocked with pots and pans and helped to save on costs. Other comments were that the rooms were well laid out, generally quiet and had working appliances.
Some guests found the location convenient for accessing highways and public transit, shopping, gas station, groceries and restaurants. Guests said there were coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance including Tim Hortons, Wendy's plus Asian and Indian restaurants.

For some the negative feeling started with the smell in the hallways. Several described unpleasant smells in the halls from people smoking and/or cooking in their units as well as musty odours. One guest opined that cooking odours are vented to the hallways instead of outside. There were also complaints of smelly rooms and a smelly mattress. More than one guest said the non-smoking floor wreaked of smoke.
Some rooms were not serviced or poorly serviced according to some. Some guests were disturbed to find out that housekeeping only cleaned every 3 days (some said once per week). More than one guest said she had to do her own cleaning. Others complained of beds that were too soft, lumpy or too hard, plus noisy and ineffective air conditioners.
Questionable people (guests called them hookers) who also stayed at this hotel created a problem for a few reviewers, who complained of poor security and a constant police presence, fighting, yelling and brawling during their stays.
