Overview
The Hilton Garden Inn Toronto/Mississauga hotel is more typically suited for travellers looking to be in either Brampton, Mississauga or near the airport. Even though Toronto is in the name do not think of this as a first choice if you are looking to visit downtown Toronto as there are many other closer options. Guests were typically happy with their stay at this hotel with average guest ratings of over 8 out of 10 points (on 10 point scales) and over 4 out of 5 points (on 5 point scales).
The GoodRoom cleanliness and comfort were praised by numerous reviewers on CanadianHotelGuide.com, Expedia.com and Orbitz.com. In addition, rooms were said to be spacious and well-appointed for the most part (mini-fridge, microwave, etc.). While some thought the hotel would be closer to the airport they still found it convenient enough to get to and from the airport in a reasonable amount of time. This was said to be a location of choice among visitors to either Mississauga or Brampton (not the best location for those wanting to visit downtown Toronto). Staff were said to be friendly and accommodating, however there were a few isolated complaints about the customer service across a few sources. Finally, a few guests identified themselves as business travellers and felt it was a great accommodation for their purposes.
The Bad
Complaints were generally uncommon, however there were a few guests on Booking.com that mentioned the television in their room was old and had a very limited selection of working channels. In addition, the surrounding area left some wanting more. According to reviews across a variety of sources nothing was within walking distance. There were no easily accessible restaurants or shopping areas by foot. Finally, a few guests on Expedia.com mentioned that the walls were thin, making it easy to hear guests in neighbouring rooms.

Booking.com guests were generally quite happy with this property as average guest ratings were an impressive 8.9 out of 10 points. There were a few isolated complaints regarding customer service, however the majority of reviewers praised the staff.
Expedia.com guests had some issues with noise and a few mentioned they did not receive the level of customer service they were hoping for, however guests enjoyed their stay overall. The average guest rating was 3.9 out of 5 points at the time of writing.
TripAdvisor.com guest reviewers typically praised this property with an average guest rating of 4.5 out of 5 points. Many guest mentioned they would return to this hotel in the future.
