"I have already filled out a customer service card and have submitted my comments upon checking-out. Please find my comment below:
During check-in, it was arranged with Karla (frontdesk) that we have a late check-out at 2:00 at no additional charge. However, next day Trish (frontdesk) advised us that no notice was left and therefore we were asked to check-out by 12:30 otherwise a charge of $60 would incur.
This situation made our stay frustrating, especially because Trish called us at 12:00 to notify us, giving us thirty minutes to check-out."

"Shuttle service was quick and friendly, check in/out was fast. We only stayed a quick overnight on our way home but felt the accommodations and service helped make the homeward trip enjoyable."

"While I was registering (9:00 pm), both reception desk clerks were enthusiastically chewing and popping bubble gum 'till I thought I'd go mad. The one with dark hair was also wearing a blouse that was sadly in need of an iron, and she seemed out of uniform-- there was no badge and no jacket. She was curt and almost surly with guests, and I came close to telling her off. Neither of them made me feel like I was a welcomed guest, and I think they'd have been happy to see me leave so they could get back to their chat. When I was checking out 2 days later (9:00 am), the front desk staff was in uniform (pressed blouses, jackets and badges), and they conducted themselves efficiently, professionally and with great courtesy. One has to wonder about such a discrepancy....
Although I had a confirmed room, there was a lengthy delay in registering, and I finally had to ask if there was a problem. I was told that they were not sure if the room was clean, so they were frantically looking for another room, even though I had just heard them tell someone that the hotel was full. I went to look at the room I was supposed to have, and it seemed just fine, so they allowed me to register. The newly renovated rooms were comfortable and clean. Once in my room however, I noticed that the bathtub faucet dripped continuously, and that there were no bath towels. It took more than 20 minutes for some to be brought to my room. Considering how nicely the room was decorated, I was amused to note that the apple-green shower curtain did nothing to enhance the decor of the pink-tiled bathroom. I also discovered that there was no TV remote, so had to call the front desk again to ask for one. The clerk told me they would have to take one out of another room. I'm not sure that would have pleased the other guests!
I loved the fact that the hotel has an attached restaurant that is open 24 hours a day, though the service was not terrific. They also have a pub that many patrons seemed to enjoy. I was glad to have a coffee perk in the room, but the hotel does not have ironing boards and has only 1 iron for the entire hotel, so you can only have it for a limited time and have to sign it out and back in.
Once I was settled, I enjoyed the rest of my stay. The location was convenient, and there was lots of room for parking. I was able to set up my laptop on the good-sized desk, and there was adequate lighting for my work. The housekeeping staff was friendly, and my room was always well-cleaned when I returned each evening. Overall, this was an acceptable experience, and adequate to the cost. They just need to get rid of that one front desk clerk......."

"It's hard to carry luggage to second floor but we're not helpless. Next time I would leave most in my car.
Smoking section a little too smelly but we don't smoke any more and on return trip we wanted lower level."

"Not very friendly. The staff should be making more of an effort to be friendlier to the customer."
