"Discomfort at the Comfort Inn"
"I chose this hotel on the basis of comparatively low price to others in the area. On the surface it appeared to be a reasonable selection. My room was neat however the carpeting was so old and dirty I kept my shoes on. The through-wall air conditioner / heating unit was noisy and in poor condition. During the night the smoke detector chirped intermittentaly as they do when in need of fresh batteries. It began around 2 AM and continued until I vacated the room. The front desk clerk noted my complaint and told me a manager wouldn't be present until 11 am-and I was welcome to await his arrival. I phoned the hotel several times throughout the day and no one answered the phone. When I finally contacted the manager he told me I should have changed rooms (at 2 AM or later) so it was entirely my fault that I was unable to sleep that night.
There are better places than the Meadowvale Comfort Inn at which to stay in the area. I truly regret my selection of that facility."

"Excellent accommodations for price and location"
"The accommodations at this hotel were excellent; the rooms and corrdiors were very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this hotel, particularly if you are on a budget, excellent amenities for the price, i.e. microwave, small fridge and internet!
My only complaint: I found the cooling unit a bit loud - other than this the Comfort Inn provides great accommodation. Location also is excellent, close to the 401 and 403."
