"I do recommend this hotel to someone, hotel is pretty neat. I have one importent suggestion to make The address is given wrong in the website, hotel is not in Toronto, Markham is not Toronto. When I wanted to take directions from google maps I ended up at woodbine avenue near downtown, later realized that it is at different location, I just spent half day in finding your hotel. "I was surprised that the shower did not have a hose! That was the only major annoyance with the room. My request for an extra blanket was immediately taken care of, and my request not to clean my room was heeded! For the price it was a great deal, and I'd stay there again if the circumstances permitted. The circumstances being how close I would need to be to downtown. It's quite out there! At non-rush hour times its not a problem, but for those keen on sightseeing the downtown core a lot, it might pose a problem. For people with a rental car and who plan to go around various areas of Toronto, such as the zoo, it's fabulous."

"The Monte Carlo Inn was a pleasant surprise. It was our first time staying at a Monte Carlo and I would recommend it to anyone. It was very clean and the housekeeping staff did a great job. It was conveniently located just about a 20 minute ride to downtown Toronto."

"Considering that the breakfasts were included in this great price, I shouldn't complain. But perhaps a few more healthy, hi-fibre choices would could be added to the breakfast menu, hot oatmeals, some dry nuts and fruit. Otherwise, this is a great place, would stay and again and will recommend."

"Nice hotel, good stay. The area is pretty bleak n terms of shopping or even a small convenience store so it is not a very good hotel for those, like me, who do not have a car."

"The woman who ran the restaurant was very, very warm, welcoming and lovely. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted. She (and the breakfast) was the nicest part of our stay. Too much air freshener in the room! Pillows very uncomfortable. A/C unit too loud"
