"Great Hotel for Visitors to the University"
"- comfortable bed and a fantastically huge desk with great lighting for working.
- near to the university - if you're coming to work at Western or for a conference, this is a great location and the desk space and lighting in the hotel room are useful supports for such work.
- really friendly and courteous cleaning staff who made the room look very nice."

"The only disappointing thing was that throughout the night I was woken up by hallway conversations from other customers. In other hotels, if I hear other people, the sounds are more muffled. These voices were clear, not muffled, and carried through to my room - enough to wake my up."

"Spencer Conference Center is situated on a large, leafy lot, and fairly convenient to the University of Western Ontario (which is just over 1 mile away), but too far from the London downtown (about 6 miles) or any restaurants/amenities without a car.
The Conference Center offers what they call a "business center", which is just a room with three computers and a printer, but it was not very busily used, so I was always able to get use of a computer when I went there. There are nice dine-in facilities, but room service tended to end rather early (around 8:00pm, even though the stated time was 8:30pm).
My room came with an iron and ironing board, but no hair-dryer. However, the in-room ethernet facilities should prove handy to those with ethernet-card laptops."
