"Although the hotel itself was only adequate for our needs, the service we were given was excellent, especially from Nikki. If the hotel was as good as its staff I would have thought it would be recommended the world over."

"More movie selection would have been better and the movie was snowy while it was on. Other than that it was good."

"I was charged $160 for my room. Upon my arrival I asked if there were any less expensive rooms. The answer that I received was no. BUT one of my friends phoned the hotel about 30 minutes after my check-in and was quoted a room rate of $105 (over $90 with CAA).
I paid $160 for a room with a jaquzzi and the drain didn't work. My friend saved $70 for approximately the same room!"

"3 issues:
1. I had reserved what I thought was a room with 2 double beds in a non-smoking room. My friend is an asthmatic and required a non-smoking room. When we arrived, a room with 2 double beds was available but ONLY in the smoking section. The room REEKED of heavy smoke scent, to the point of nauseating. Completely unsuitable. We had to down-grade to a room with 1 queen size bed and pullout bed, for the same price. As my friend and I required separate sleeping areas, this was not acceptable, but apparently not able to be corrected without further costs .. or at all, who knows, as I didn't ask, too tired from travelling all day! I was disappointed, for sure. I, obviously erroneously, thought when you reserved a room with specific requirements, well, I thought they were met.
2. The pull out bed that my friend was forced to use, in lieu of the expected double bed, as mentioned above, was a WRECK. The entire bottom spring area was gone. It was held up with 2 springs. One at the corner, and I one next to it, which I had to re-attach. Not impressive and terribly uncomfortable sleep for a woman that had just travelled, on Friday, over 13 hours from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Then she/we had travelled a further 7.5 - 8 hours from Montreal, Quebec, by car. We were both expecting far superior accomodations than what we received.
3. There was some team sporting group or other running wildly up and down the halls, screaming, pounding on doors and being generally disagreeable in the amount of noise they were producing, especially given the lateness of the hour we arrived to sleep.(almost midnigh). The security staff did deal with our initial complaint pleasantly and expediently, however the kids didn't settle right away, but still continued to make some noise, though greatly reduced for another 40 minutes or so.
As I was travelling with a friend and my daughter, my 4 yr old daughter and I required at least a double bed to accomodate both of us. It would have been imposing greatly on my friendship with this dear lady to expect her to share the only decent bed in the room. Not an optimum situation at all. Normally, I always stay at Comfort Inn hotels when I travel. Up to this point, I have always been pleasantly surprised at the quality and comfort offered by the establishments I've stayed in. I am sad to say, that the London, Ontario, Comfort Inn is NOT one I'd recommend to anyone to stay in."

"I felt paying $109.00 per night plus taxes that I should have had at least 2 beds. not just a pull-out single..
Wasn't worth the $$$.
But it was clean..."
