Overview
Located on Hwy 2, a short drive to downtown Kingston, this budget-friendly motel is suitable for guests looking for basic accommodations near the downtown core.

All of the 42 rooms at this hotel have free Wi-Fi, free wired Internet, a microwave, a mini-fridge, a 27" TV with cable channels, a coffeemaker, a hair dryer and an iron and ironing board. There are standard rooms (double, queen, king beds), executive suites (one separate bedroom) or family suites (two separate bedrooms). Pets are not allowed at this hotel.

There is no on-site restaurant, but guests are offered a complimentary continental breakfast (offered seasonally October-May). There are a number of dining options located within a 5-minute drive of this hotel. On-site amenities include free parking and an outdoor pool (open seasonally).

With the exception of the Military Electronics and Communications Museum (an 11-minute walk), guests will need a car to access Kingston's points of interest. Fort Henry (originally built in 1812) is a 6-minute drive away. Confederation Basin and Marina, where the Kingston Tour Train (tours around Kingston's sights) and the Island Queen (tours around the 1,000 Islands) both depart (spring, summer and fall), is a 6-minute drive away. Market Square (which has an open air farmer's market in the spring, summer and fall and an outdoor rink in the winter) is a 7-minute drive away.

Among the reviews used for this analysis, guests generally reported positive experiences at this hotel and much of that could be attributed to its convenient location and to the general appearance of the hotel.

A number of guests seeking leisure time found this location quiet and peaceful.

There were several comments on the high level of cleaning and maintenance done to the hotel. Guests said that the rooms were clean and smelled fresh. A number of guests commented on how well the exterior and the grounds of the hotel were kept. 

A number of guests were pleasantly surprised with the size of their rooms and commented on how spacious and comfortable they were. Guests travelling in large groups and families said that there was ample room to accommodate their needs.

Staff here were friendly, helpful and accommodating, according to guests.

There were some additional comments from guests who liked the convenience of having a mini-fridge in their room and from guests who enjoyed the pool area.

Most of the reviews used for this analysis were favourable, although guests did complain about a few items, though this was not reflective of overall guest experience.

A few guests felt that the beds were exceedingly hard and uncomfortable.
