Overview
The Delta Kingston Waterfront Hotel is one of only a few waterfront hotels in downtown Kingston. Well suited for both business and leisure travellers, this property is within a 15-minute walk of several downtown destinations, including the Rogers K-Rock Centre and Queens University.

All rooms are smoke free and include a 42" flat screen TV, a mini-fridge, a coffeemaker, iHome Audio System, a desk and ergonomic chair, Internet and connectivity docks at desk level, Philosophy brand toiletries, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and air conditioning. Select rooms are equipped with a glass-enclosed spa shower (and no tub) and/or a sofabed, while suites also include fireplace. Every room at this hotel provides views of the water.

Free Wi-Fi and wired Internet are available throughout the hotel. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available. Pets are permitted in select rooms for an additional fee of $35 per pet, per stay. There is a limit of two pets per guest room, however. 

Indoor parking is available on site for an additional fee of $18 per night.

The on-site restaurant, Aqua Terra, is open daily from 6:30 am and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room service is also available during restaurant hours. The restaurant also features views of Lake Ontario.

Other on-site amenities include a rooftop indoor pool and hot tub, guest laundry facilities, dry cleaning service, a 24-hour business centre, meeting space, safe deposit boxes and a 24-hour front desk.

This hotel is adjacent to the pedestrian-only Waterfront Pathway (Rideau Trail) and is a 2-minute walk from Battery Park, which overlooks the water. The Pump House Steam Museum is 7 minutes away on foot, while the Kingston-Wolf Island ferry terminal is about a 10-minute walk away.

Access to Highway 2 is a 1-minute drive away, while the Royal Military College of Canada is 4 minutes away by car. The Kingston Centre shopping mall is an 8-minute drive away, while the Cataraqui Centre, a major mall, is about a 15-minute drive away.

Nothing seemed to go wrong for guests who stayed at this hotel and many reviews contained only positive comments. 

However, a few guests noted an area of the hotel that could be improved. These guests said that the on-site parking facility offered tight access and parking spaces that were too tight. Guests said the spaces would be difficult for larger pick-up trucks and vans.
