Complaints of smoke odours were also prevalent, as were comments regarding stained carpets. Bugs, such as bedbugs, cockroaches and fleas, were detected in some guest rooms.
A few hotel guests had to deal with broken air conditioning units, whereas other guests complained of noisy heating systems. Paper thin walls were another issue and several guests were unable to sleep due to noise from inside and outside the hotel.
