"Very good value, and accomodating to our needs."
"This Hotel was very accomodating to our needs as we were in Kingston attending the Hospital, and the staff were very kind and considerate. The cleanser used for the carpets was a bit strong-smelling, but overall the hotel was very clean and comfortable. Front Desk Staff were very pleasant and helpful."

"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel."
"The hotel is "tired" but the staff responded quickly to any concerns and called maintenance to rectify the problems.
Unfortunately the manager did not initially acknowledge that the hotel stay was prepaid was not all that gracious about finally stating that that was the case. Questioning how I had made the reservation etc. and I had all the documentation and phone numbers that she could call."

"Unacceptable"
"We did not stay at the Comfort Inn. Although I had requested a "no smoking" room, we were given a smoking room; all that was left even though this was only 3PM. The smell was so bad, we could not stay. This really inconvenienced us and we had to spend an extra $40 to stay at another hotel."

"The air conditioning in the room was just minimally cool and could not be turned up...it was quite warm in the room. The basket for the sugar was nearly empty and only one bag of coffee was in the room so we had to request more. These items should always be replenished after each guest leaves."

"I asked for a no smoking room, and there was a sign in the room that said it was non smoking. However, the room air was very bad with the smell of old, smokey cigarette smoke. It wasn't fresh smoke like someone down the hall or in the next room. It was definitely the smell of stale smoke in the carpet and wallpaper. I left the patio door open, but it didn't help much.
Did't bother to change rooms because it was late when I arrived and I was tired."

"Entryways were dirty and narrow with luggage.
Rooms needed a very good cleaning ie: tables, couch, etc had not been moved and the carpets were dust covered and other items hidden behind these areas.
A fee was charged for Destination Marketing of $3.17 per day which was not included in any quotes or communication prior to receiving my bill. The desk clerk said he could do nothing that this was company policy. I intend to follow up on this charge.
On a positive note, the room make up people were very friendly and accommodating.

"I booked a non smoking room on line. When I got to the room it stunk like smoke, and being asthmatic I called the front desk to ask if in fact, I had a smokers room. THe woman at the desk was very curt and told me I had booked a smoking room and said I had a preference for a non smoking room and that because none was available ..too bad. I should have left as it was 94$ for a lousy not very nice room. But I was tired and my friend and I were hungry. Anyways, the next day my clothes reeked of smoke just from being in the room. Anyways, I will not be going to the Comfort Inn again EVER. The woman at the desk was like a robot-rude and unfriendly. Fortunately, the next day the woman was excellent. Anyways, that was my nice nite in Kingston!!"
