"Overall, the room was clean & large which served our purpose for a 1 night stay (but the rooms were very dated). The exterior of this hotel is "institutional" looking ... not at all what I thought we would get from a Travelodge (which I have stayed at before in other cities). The continental breakfast was toast & "homemade" muffins that we were too nervous to eat. Fine for 1 night as an adult passing through, but not to take a family or loved one to."

"My only complaint would be that the beds were very noisy,,, every time you roll over , very squeeky,, can hear neighbours beds squeek as well... other than that, everything was fine."

"The fact that there was not a separate sink in the bathroom was a big turn off. To shave, you had to use the sknk in the kitchenette -not very hygenic or private."

"Not a hotel I would stay in for the hotel itself, but the Algonquin Park is about half an hours drive away. I was looking for an afordable hotel room near the park and only for that the hotel was perfect for me."

"Your staff at the front desk both day and night were extremely welcoming and helpful! The hotel breakfast was yummy and the room was very clean!

"We booked over the internet and requested a non-smoking room. When we arrived we were allocated a smoking room which was unsatisfactory. The receptionist was excellent. She phoned around and tried to find us a non-smoking room but due to the leaf-peeking season all the hotels were full. Howevr, she changed the bed-covers and tried to do all she could to remove the smell of tobacco. With the window open all the time we were just about able to stand the smell.
We found the hotel pretty basic and uninspiring. It gave the impression of a converted commercial building rather than a hotel"

"No elevator, no pool, no broadband access, no restaurant, tiny rooms that were not particularly clean, too few nonsmoking rooms. So-called continental breakfast consisted of undrinkable brown liquid (supposedly coffee), oversugared pastries and a few melon slices. Travelodge, certainly not the world's greatest hotel chain, should nonetheless be ashamed to have its name associated with this place."
