The Bad
Guests were often dissatisfied with the hotel based upon a number of weaknesses.

Room complaints were: poor TV reception, plugged drains and toilets, poor water pressure in shower, mouldy bathroom tiles, stained and sticky carpets, musty odour, windows did not open, maid did not replenish coffee, dirty Jacuzzi jets, noisy neighbours/traffic sounds/AC unit and difficulty accessing Wi-Fi.

Some felt the location was in a run down area with panhandlers.

Guests often complained about front desk staff being rude and unhelpful.

Parking was limited according to several reviewers. Guests were given free parking a block away which was not fully satisfactory to some.

Guests often found the hallway and stairway carpets very dirty and not vacuumed.

Some were disenchanted with the breakfast. It lacked eggs and bacon and some felt it was mediocre, but guests did not speak of the breakfast very often in recent reviews.

A small number of recent guests said they suffered insect bites at the hotel (July and Sept 2016) and there were cases reported in the reviews in May 2010 and Feb 2012, but the hotel responded by saying they have regular inspections done by a company and are combatting the problem on a regular basis.
