"I was in a wedding and had made reservations on line. When I had arrived all was well and I checked in promptly. Once the wedding party had completed the rehearsal duties I followed another couple from my area in Ontario, who were also in the wedding party, back to the hotel only to find that the honeymoon suite that had been reserved for this couple by the bride herself was not available and despite having a confirmation number they knew nothing of them. They claimed to have only three smoking rooms left but when the bride called the desk clerk and asked for information to contact the manager, they conveniently found them a large frequent visitors club room. They had nothing for them the night of the wedding and this couple had to go all the way to Cambridge to have a room for the next night. They claimed that the reason for the mix up was "must have been on the old system" with no apologies or offers for the mix up."

"I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel including both weekend nights. The room was clean as was the other areas of the hotel. There is access to 2 English type pubs just across the street as well as a Chinese restraunt. I would stay here again the next time I am in Guelph."

"My room was a smoking one - I am allergic to smoke. Even the hallway reeked of smoke. They did change my room to another smoking one that was slightly better. My room was on the second floor. There was no one to help carry my bag up the flights of stairs. The breakfast area was very conjested.
I am still coughing from my night at the Days Inn."

"Movie rentals were antiquated and toilet paper seemed to be rationed. One incident with the toaster in the lobby setting off the room smoke detector alarms at 7 am repeatedly. Bathroom floors should be cleaned daily. I think most of the concerns can be handled by responsible individuals who work there. This has occured at higher priced hotels as well so it may not be an indication of this chains policies."

"This is not the 1st stay at this hotel. It is not someplace I would reccomend to someone who was looking for a quiet stay. On a prior visit, The staff seemed incapable of controlling the noise level. When I complained the response from the receptionist was that he couldnt be in more than 1 place at a time. I would not have returned if another place was available."

"there is not a restaurant with the hotel, BUT there are 3 restaurants right across the street! All different, one type of road house, great excellent food, another chinese buffet and another one. All stores are really close and the Stone Road Mall as well.
good place and worth the few bucks. Recommend it to anyone staying in Guelph as it is in a great location!
thanks a bunch!
have a fun-shiney day ;0)"

"i travel a lot and i have never had this kind of exsperience before. the sheet where not fresh. they had a really bad smell to them. they had stains on them. that looked like it would have come off if they were washed before we got there. both headboards had something sprayed all over it. the comforter was stained as well.
the air was stale. i am aware that it was a smoking room. but when i walked in there the smell hit me really hard. im sure its because you cant open windows so no fresh air has ever hit that room. the shower had left over shampoo in it that wasnt picked up from the previous visiters.
all in all the room was very discusting, i will never stay in that hotel again. the workers were friendly and very helpful but it was too unclean for my liking. my stay was very uncomfortable for that reason i will never return."
