There's a lot of highly rated hotels in Guelph and most are quite reasonably priced, but they tend to be located about a 10-minute drive from the downtown core on the average. I looked for hotels that provide good value at the best possible price in Guelph, while comparing guest opinion, amenities offered and the convenience of the hotel's location. My picks are the hotels I consider to offer the very best value for the price.

I picked the Comfort Inn in Guelph because it’s a guest favorite for value. This is a well-liked basic hotel, judging from guests who have reviewed online recently, most considering it excellent and giving it very good scores. It's also one of the cheapest available for the city of Guelph.

This hotel is another gem in the city of Guelph, about 11 minutes from downtown Guelph, with very high ratings from guests and one of the lowest room rates for the city.
