The Bad
While many of the reviews used for this analysis were positive, guests were not very pleased with the hotel's decor, nor with the lighting in the rooms.

This hotel was aging and in need of a "facelift", as some guests put it. Words like "shabby" and "dated" were common in the reviews. Furniture and carpets and bathroom tiles were mentioned specifically.

Rooms were dark and dreary, according to guests, who suggested that the light bulbs were not strong enough to adequately light the space.

A number of guests complained about lingering odours of cigarette smoke in the rooms.

There were a few peripheral comments from guests who thought that the continental breakfast lacked variety and about slow and difficult Wi-Fi connections.
