This hotel is located less than a 5-minute drive to the Peace Bridge, with access to the US. A number of Niagara area attractions are nearby (Niagara Falls and Marineland are within a 25-minute drive). Based on the reviews, this hotel appears to be popular with tourists visiting the area and who seek less expensive accommodations away from the busy tourist area of Niagara Falls.

All of the 32 rooms at this hotel have free Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a coffeemaker, a hair dryer and an iron and ironing board. Standard rooms are furnished with either queen or double beds. Suites are larger and some are furnished with a jetted tub. Pets are allowed for $25 per night.

There is no restaurant on site, but guests are offered a complimentary continental breakfast daily. There is a wide selection of restaurants located within a 5-minute walk of the hotel. Free parking is available on site.

The Good
Guests had some favourable comments about this hotel, which mostly centred around its location.

Guests appreciated this hotel's proximity to a number of attractions and points of interest (the Peace Bridge and access to the U.S. is less than a 5-minute drive away). Guests also said the hotel was conveniently close to shopping (County Fair Mall is just over a 5-minute walk away) and to restaurants. A number of guests were using this hotel as a home base to tour around the Niagara region, and found that it was central to their destinations.

There was a sense from guests that they perceived good value at this hotel. They found the price point attractive and reasonable.
The Bad
Many of the reviews used for this analysis were not favourable and guests commonly complained about the state of the decor and of the exterior of the hotel.

A number of guests indicated that this hotel was aging and that updates and renovations were in order. They commented on the decor and on the hotel's exterior. A number of guests said that the hotel appeared to be run down.

A few guests were disappointed with the lack of selection offered at the complimentary continental breakfast. Guests said it was "sparse" and "minimal".

There was apparently a lack of detailed cleaning at this hotel. A number of guests complained about stained, dirty carpets and about dirty linens. 

A couple of guests complained about odours in their rooms which they suspected were coming from the carpets. Some other guests complained about strong odours from cleaning chemicals.

"You get what you pay for!"

"Dated and dingy rooms, but can't expect much for the price we paid! ($59/night). The bed was not made in the first room they gave us, but the second room was fine. Very basic. Free internet and parking. Free breakfast, but we didn't take advantage of it because it was just cereal, white bagels or english muffins in the motel check-in area. We preferred the Tim Hortons right next door. The location was great... near the water and minutes from the Peace Bridge."

"A stopper for the bus tub was not there and I tried to call the front desk, but no answer. The front desk said we would have free breakfast but when we were there 7:00 am, the door was locked and no one was there. Other people were waiting there too but it was too cold to wait outside. We waited and tried to call the front desk but no one answers. There was no explanation who or how to contact when we are not sure what to do, and we did not know what to do. It seems to me they did not want to give us free breakfast."

"There were two things I would change. As you walk in the room all you can smell what they use to clean the room. After awhile it bothers you--need to change cleaning brand. The other thing is we were on the second floor and there is a railing to hold on to but it is right next to the eavestrough which is sharp and if you don't watch what you are doing you can cut yourself. Otherwise the room was good."
