Overview
The Econo Lodge Fort Erie, formerly the Comfort Inn Fort Erie, is 7 minutes away by car from the nearest Queen Elizabeth Way interchange and 5 minutes away by car from the Peace Bridge, which provides access to the Canada/U.S. border. This hotel would be a good fit for travellers who want quick access to the border and those who want to explore the surrounding area by car.

Each of the 70 individually climate-controlled room comes with an iron and ironing board, a coffeemaker, cable TV, an alarm clock, a desk and chair and a hair dryer. Select rooms feature a microwave and mini-fridge. Smoking and non-smoking accommodations are available.

A complimentary continental breakfast is provided and on-site parking is free. Pets are permitted to stay at this hotel for a fee of $15 per night.

Other hotel features include fax and copy service, currency exchange, vending machines, a 24-hour front desk, guest laundry and complimentary newspapers in the lobby.

Niagara Falls attractions like the Skylon Tower and Marineland are 24 to 25 minutes away by car. The hotel's location was a big draw for many reviewers. They liked that it was easily accessible and thought it was conveniently near the highway. Some guests felt the hotel was quiet despite its proximity to the major road while others thought it was convenient for accessing the Peace Bridge.

Several guests thought the rooms were very clean and that the room rates were quite reasonable for the Niagara area.

The staff, according to some reviewers, were friendly.
