"Hotel deteriorating badly in condition. Clean but very bare bones and minimal amenities. Tiny TV - no coffee or anything like that in the room. Continental breakfast was stale and sparse. It was oddly spooky since it seemed just about empty. I stayed here years ago when it was good, however it has a problem now. It is way overpriced for what is received. It is barely a two star hotel. It should not be priced more than $75 Cdn. at best.The staff were very polite. Former restaurant is now used only for the Continental breakfast.

"Our rate was supposed to include a continental breakfast ($6 value), but there was never any food left when we got to the breakfast room. In addition, even though we had a non-smoking room, we could smell cigarette smoke in the room -either from a vent or someone had smoked in the room immediately prior to our renting it!"

The Belaire restaurant also serves up great tasting Asian and Canadian menu. Timothy's Gourmet coffee and tea are available in the lobby, while newspapers and parking are always complimentary. Easy to access via major highways, public transportation and its super fast airport shuttle, the Belaire is a great place for a great stay.
