Most reviewers complimented the customer service they received at this hotel. They characterized the staff as friendly, efficient, welcoming, courteous, and helpful. Check-in was described as quick, and one guest remarked the owners, "showed great pride in ownership".
Several guests were pleased with their accommodations. They described their rooms as clean, large, quiet and modern, with good-sized TVs. It should be mentioned however, that some guests said the carpets in their rooms were stained, and that they felt the towels were too thin.
The hotel's location was praised by many lodgers. They described it as close to Highway 401, Cornwall downtown and restaurants. It was also mentioned that there was a Tim Hortons and a gas station located next door.
The Bad
While most of the reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a few common complaints among them, which included the breakfast and the lack of amenities.
Some guests were disappointed with the included continental breakfast. They felt there should have been more choices, and reported there weren't eggs, peanut butter, or enough fruit offered. One guest also felt the breakfast hours should have been extended past the 9:30 am finish.
A few reviewers felt their rooms were lacking in amenities. They were disappointed there was no iron and ironing board, no conditioner, and no fridge in their rooms. It should be mentioned however, that rooms with mini-fridges and kitchenettes are available upon request.
