The GoodGuests that stayed at the Days Inn Collingwood Suites seemed to be quite happy with the hotel. The location of the property and the room rates each received a lot of praise.
Guests that liked the location of the hotel had a few different reasons. Some guests mentioned that the hotel was near the Blue Mountain ski resort while others indicated that they found a lot of shopping near the property. One guest who was looking for dining options said that there were “many restaurants nearby.”
Numerous guests felt as though the hotel offered good value or good rates. Many guests felt as though the property had plenty of amenities and one patron said that the hotel “had everything” he/she needed and at a “good price.” Another guest felt as though he/she received an “affordable” price but still “received the same treatments” that the higher classed hotels offered.
The hotel was also considered clean by many patrons and the staff at the hotel received several compliments and relatively few complaints.
The Bad
Guests that were not entirely happy with their stay did not concentrate their complaints into too many areas. However the hotel still appeared to have a couple of weak points.
The breakfast at the hotel received mixed reviews. There were definitely guests that liked the selection and food quality however the hotel did not deliver consistency from this perspective. Some guests felt as though the breakfast was just average or that it offered “limited” choices.
The pool at the hotel failed to impress many guests and the main reason for that was its size. Several guests indicated that it was “small” while occasionally guests also called it cold.
Expedia.ca guest ratings averaged to 4.6 points out of 5 and 92% of guests recommended the site.
TripAdvisor.com ranked the hotel 2nd of 10 hotels in Collingwood and the site had 49 reviews.
