Located just southwest of Highway 26 and an 8-minute drive from Collingwood's downtown, Cranberry Resort is suited for vacation or business travellers who require a hotel providing golf and meeting facilities close to the Blue Mountains.

This non-smoking hotel has 180 air-conditioned guest rooms and suites, each offering satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, a coffeemaker, and a hair dryer. Standard rooms offer two double or two queen beds, or one queen bed with a sofabed, while one or two bedroom condo suites offer separate bedrooms, a full kitchen, a living room with a dining table, a jacuzzi tub, a fireplace, a DVD player, and an iron and ironing board.

Most reviewers were pleased with the hotel's location. They described it as centrally-located and close to the Blue Mountains, Wasaga Beach, the Scandinave Spa, and biking and hiking trails.

There are different levels of accommodations at this hotel. Several guests were pleased with their rooms/condos in the Waterfront Suites and described them as clean and spacious with comfortable beds and soft pillows. Guests situated in the older main part of the hotel however, found their rooms in need of upgrades, and reported worn carpets, old furniture and appliances, and dated decor.

The service at the hotel was satisfactory for many lodgers. They characterized the staff as friendly, pleasant and accommodating with attentive service. It should be noted however, that some guests were disappointed with the lack of information given by staff about the hotel and its amenities.
